A helicopter with four rotors is known as quadrotor or quadcopter. Since the body of this craft is lifted by set of rotors or vertically oriented propellers it is also classified as rotorcraft. The propellers are generally two pairs which are identically fixed, one pair clockwise and another counter clockwise.

These quadcopters come with various advantages over conventional helicopters be its small size, low price or durability. Small blades possess less kinetic energy hence reducing the ability to cause damage whereas if the size increases drawbacks increases. Quadcopter has made its way and is being used at various platforms be it Research, Military, Law enforcements or Commercial use.

Engineers from any engineering stream, Students from any branch of science are eligible for this course.  Working professionals or any graduates who have keen interest in drone/quad, must pursue this course.

In particular one can chose from major career options in quadcopter as a programmer for the Quadcopter Flight Stablization Board & in the Fliming Videography, Photography using quadcopter. Research, Military and Law enforcements fields are also in need of people with knowledge of Quad.

Quadcopters evaluate new ideas in a number of different fields, including flight control theory, navigation, real time systems, and robotics. And according to the industry standards it is a strong part of Drones. So we can say there is a wide scope and good market demand of Quadcopter.
