CATIA  stands for Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application which is a Modelling software released in 1977 by Dassault System. Software is developed on C++ platform. Presently this is the only software which has the capability of CAD, CAM and CAE because of its feature as it has N number of work benches.

Learn CATIA to make your career in design & modelling industry. Fields like Automobile, Petroleum, Fabrications use CATIA as it has proved to be a success in their field due as it has a feature of dynamic modelling. We state that CATIA has wide usage across, to name a few industries which can’t be a success without such softwareare Aerospace, Appliances, Architecture, Automotive, Construction, Electronics, Medical, Machinery, Mold and Die, and Shipbuilding and even in NASA's design of the Space Shuttle.

Engineers : Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Petroleum, Design Engineers all make use of CATIA for fabrication and simulation drawings.
Industrial Designer : People who is working or wanting to work in automobile, aerospace or any parts manufacturing company, then they should know CATIA.

Once you are through with the software one can apply for different job profiles:
Aerospace & Defence
Automotive
Ship Building
Transportation
Energy Process & Utility
Architecture and Construction

CATIA is used mainly in Aviation, Military and Automotive industries. There is more demand for CATIA designers than there are for designers using any other CAD program.
